About Us

The Toronto Globalist is an undergraduate run international affairs magazine, and is part of the Global21 Network, a group of international affairs magazines, headquartered at Yale University.

Founded in 2005, the Toronto Globalist publishes once per semester on the St. George Campus of the University of Toronto.

Staff

Matthew Gray
Editor-in-Chief

Matthew Gray grew up in Toronto, Ontario.  He is a third year University of Toronto student, studying International Relations & History, with a minor in Political Science.  Matthew became involved with The Toronto Globalist

in first year, becoming the Head Productions Editor.  Matthew loves doing design and communications work for The Globalist. He founded Urbane Magazine, a fashion/lifestyle magazine in second year, and has been an active member in the UN Society, International Relations Society, and LGBTOUT at the University of Toronto.  He is frequently spotted napping in the Hart House Library, or University College’s Junior Common Room.

Bedour Alagraa
Managing Editor

Bedour Alagraa is a fourth year University of Toronto student.  Bedour majors in International Relations and Political Science, and has been involved with The Globalist in the publishing department.  She is the Co-President of the International Relations Society, past Chairperson of the University of Toronto Model Parliament, and works at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
